  BELIEVE THE HYPE! Absolutely brilliant experience from start to finish. The food was fantastic, the starter was tasty, but the carvery, best I've ever had. I tried all the meats, never had turkey so moist. Stuffing & Yorkshire puddings were near on perfect. Couldn't manage the desert, but they let you take it home! The venue is super clean, was really impressed with the levels of cleanliness. The staff were excellent & the head chef who has been there for 21 years was very helpful & informative. 101% recommend the Huntsman. As Homer says 'put a fork in me, I'm done!' 5* + a few more stars!

  Oh my, what a place to eat! The Carvery has got a bit of a bad name over the years as it's just seen as a cheap meal at a pub chain. This, however, is a completely different story. This is what a carvery used to be, and why they were so popular years ago. Eat as much as you like of the quality meats and veg, and whatever you can't eat you have to go home with you in a doggy bag. Everything is home made and it tastes awesome. The meats are cooked fresh and, because it's so busy, never goes in the least bit stale.
  Starters, the Carvery and dessert all for £25 - a veritable bargain. All I would say is that the desserts tend to come with copious amounts of squirty cream which detracts a little bit from the whole experience.
  If you are a visitor to the UK and you want to know what we locals eat on a Sunday then book a table - you honestly won't regret it!
